Life Itself currently has too many overlapping channels and brands: two podcasts (Over the Mountains and Life Itself Podcast), four substacks, and multiple newsletters. None of these have been consolidated because doing so requires difficult decisions about identity and direction that have been deferred.

The goal is to end up with either one brand, or at most two clearly distinct brands:

  • Ideas brand — focused on intellectual vision, civilisational change, the Second Renaissance narrative
  • Lifestyle brand — focused on living differently, the hubs, conscious co-living in practice

Until this consolidation happens, energy is being diffused across too many channels, none of which can reach critical mass.
